About Cursus

Real numbers, not a sales pitch.

Most of what students hear about a school or a major is a story — a ranking, an admissions brochure, a relative's opinion from twenty years ago. Cursus starts from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard instead: real, reported earnings, debt, and cost data for specific schools and specific majors, turned into a straight answer in a few seconds.

What's real, and what's estimated

Earnings, debt, and tuition figures come directly from the College Scorecard API — they're government-reported data, not a guess. Anything else — career paths, employers, the roadmap, essay and resume coaching, and the rest of Pro Suite — is generated by AI and clearly marked as an estimate wherever it appears. We built it this way on purpose: it should always be obvious which numbers you can take to the bank and which are directional.

Where we are today

Cursus is early. There are no accounts and no real payments yet — "Pro Suite" is a free demo so you can see what the full product will look like. If you hit something broken or confusing, or you just have thoughts, we'd genuinely like to hear them.
